Another year rolls by and in comes one of the most fun parts of the year... Halloween! Anyway, its actually the only occasion where people in our compound get together for the sake of the kids.
As many of you can tell, Chloe is the recipient of many-a-costume. This year, we had four: a witch costume I bought from last year, a butterfly costume from Tita Nena, a Belle costume from Tita Beng and a Winnie the Pooh costume from Tita Rochie and Tita Tere. Heck, she still technically fits in the bumble bee costume from last year except I didn't think it would be pleasant to dress up a child in velvet and let them walk around in our weather. Say it with me, "Hot!" So we went with the light and airy butterfly outfit.
There were some great costumes out there when all the kids came out. Hats down to Unit B: Little syoti came as Darth Vader! The costume (clearly bought in the US) was just so jaw- dropping and all the parents were like "Aaaaawwwww." The little girls were a little scared as well.
Anyway, it was fun! The Angeles cousins brought their kids over and we all hung out and went from house to house before having a neighborhood potluck outside in our common driveway. Folks, this kind of trick or treat thing is quite fun especially when no long walks are involved and you know there's food waiting for you. Plus, the kids only had to visit what maybe, 5 houses?!? And since all the parents had sort of agreed not to overdo the candy bit, there were other treats, like stickers, toys, etc. It was great!
The morning of the party was quite hectic, but I found some time to put Chloe in two costumes and do my Halloween pictorial. (See below) Note, there are still 2 more costumes left so maybe I'll do that on the real Halloween (we're going trick or treating at the Zablan house on the 29th).
So enjoy the pictures folks!

I was in the office working this morning when Chloe walks into the room in this Winnie the Pooh costume bought by Tit a Tere. Apparently, Chloe was actually meant to be Tigger, but Kimmy (her cousin) couldnt fit into this Pooh outfit and for some weird reason, Kimmy could fit into the Tigger one... so to make a long story short, Chloe is now Pooh.
She loves this costume, readily posed for pictures, and I, being the proud mommy, dutifully spent the afternoon photoshopping her pictures. I even made wallpaper so if you're interested download it here by clicking on the picture and right clicking to Save.
Note: Its meant for screen resolution 1280 x 960 (and no, I did not have the time to make it in smaller versions - that would just be BIZARRE, don't you think?)

Hey people! Sorry Chloe's blog hasn't been updated in weeks. Her mom just came back from the States... and the two weeks leading into that were REALLY busy. Anyway, enough with the excuses! What has Chloe been up to?
Folks, she's so chattty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My god, the stuff that comes out of that kid's mouth. She's talking in complete sentences and everything. We are more and more surpised every day. All this stuff that she picks up from the Disney cartoons... its funny how she knows when to say some of the lines. She's going around singing Hakuna Matata...
By the way, did I mention she surprised us about 2 weeks ago by counting in Spanish? It was really shocking I tell you...
Anyway, while I was in the States, I bought her stuff galore. Toys, clothes, you name it. Joy sent shirts and toys along for the little tyke... Tita Beng bought a Disney Belle costume for Halloween. Hahaha, anyway, am posting the pictures. Enjoy!
